Creamy parmesan Alfredo sauce over fettuccine with pan-seared chicken. Rich, indulgent, and quick to prepare.

- 400 g fettuccine
- 2 pieces chicken breasts
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup parmesan (grated)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
Steps
- 1Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 0.5 cup pasta water; drain.
- 2Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5-6 min per side until golden and cooked through. Slice and set aside.
- 3In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté garlic 30 seconds.
- 4Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- 5Stir in parmesan until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- 6Toss fettuccine in the sauce, adding pasta water if needed for consistency.
- 7Top with sliced chicken and garnish with parsley.
