- 250 g flour
- 200 g sugar
- 120 g butter
- 3 pcs eggs
- 120 ml milk
- 1 sachet baking powder
- 2 pcs lemon zest
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- 150 g icing sugar

- 1Beat softened butter with sugar until pale and fluffy.
- 2Add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
- 3Fold in flour and baking powder alternately with milk.
- 4Stir in lemon zest.
- 5Pour into a greased and floured tin; bake at 175°C for 30–35 minutes.
- 6Whisk lemon juice with icing sugar for the glaze.
- 7Drizzle over the warm cake.
