Frequently asked questions

How is each recipe assigned to a diet?

Every recipe is tagged by its author at creation time. The page for each diet filters recipes against a set of standardised keywords (for example "vegan" / "веган") and shows only the ones that match.

Can a single recipe belong to multiple diets?

Yes. The same recipe can be vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free at the same time if it meets every restriction. It will then appear on all three pages.

Are these recipes safe to follow if I have a medical condition?

These pages are informational and do not replace medical advice. For celiac disease, diabetes, or severe allergies always read ingredient labels and consult a doctor or dietitian.

What is the difference between vegan and vegetarian?

A vegetarian diet excludes meat and fish but allows eggs and dairy. A vegan diet excludes all animal products, including eggs, milk, honey, and gelatin.

Why is keto separate from sugar-free?

Not every keto recipe is sugar-free, and not every sugar-free recipe is keto. Keto restricts all carbohydrates (including starch), while "sugar-free" only excludes added sugar. The two categories overlap but are not identical.
